KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Kidepo Valley National Park is found in Northeastern corner Uganda bordering south Sudan, and only 5km from the eastern border of Kenya. Kidepo is located in remote, sparsely populated Karamoja region, Kidepo represents one of Africas most magnificent wilderness. It was gazetted as a national park in 1962, It is about 700km/ 10 hours by road from Kampala Capital. The fastest route to kidepo is by air but overland travel is also an option. Thanks to ongoing road improvements in the region, growing numbers of visitors are exploring an exciting new northeastern safari circuit including Murchison, Kidepo, Karamoja and Mount Elgon.
